Carman’s introduces two bircher recipes

Carman'sAustralia’s favourite muesli brand, Carman’s is introducing two new bircher recipes to its range.

The new Carman’s Untoasted Apricot, Peach and Coconut Muesli is made from high quality Australian oats, apricot, peach and crunchy coconut.

The Natural Berry Bircher Muesli combines a mix of berries with blackcurrant infused-barley, resulting in a shade of pink.

With 1 in 5 households purchasing natural muesli, the average spend of the convenient breakfast option has jumped 10 per cent in the last two years.

Founder of Carman’s Carolyn Creswell said, “We have seen an increase in the demand for more muesli varieties from our consumers, especially natural, untoasted options.”

“Let’s be honest, the morning chaos of getting the kids out the door affects even the most organised of families. I find blending up a batch of bircher means that the kids can simply grab it and run out the door,” added Creswell.

Both creations have been made using real ingredients that are preservative free, a good source of fibre and with less than 6g of sugar per serve. Carman’s has also released a new bircher muesli e-book, The Best of Bircher, which features eight curated bircher recipes, as well as tips and tricks.

“At our core, we make products that our consumers can enjoy every day. The Best of Bircher eBook allows anyone to create exciting, but simple to make, portable breakfasts,” said Creswell.
