Coles has announced that it will continue its Little Shop promotion for a few more weeks, while stocks last.
The promotion was expected to end on August 28 but the supermarket giant wants to give people more time to complete their sets.
Coles’ Little Shop is an Australian supermarket first, allowing customers to collect mini replicas of Australia’s most popular grocery brands like Vegemite, Tim Tams, Vanish and Vicks.
The mini groceries have proven extremely popular with customers, with thousands turning out for a Swap Day recently.
Customers can receive one collectable item for every $30 spent.
Coles chief operating officer Greg Davis says customers have been very positive about the promotion.
“We’ve heard stories about how Little Shop has created mini communities with friends, families, neighbours and work colleagues all helping each other collect,” he said.
“We are delighted to be able to continue the campaign for customers who have told us they need more time to complete their sets.”
