Arnott’s partners with Vegemite on latest snack

shapes vegemiteArnott’s has partnered with iconic Australian spread Vegemite to create Shapes Vegemite & Cheese.

Launching just in time for Australia Day, the biscuit company describes the snack as, ‘the spirit of the nation distilled down into a cracker’.

To celebrate the unique heritage of the two brands, the cracker will be baked in the shape of Australia and displayed in black packaging to reflect the colour of the iconic spread.

“Arnott’s Shapes has been a favourite in Aussie homes for over 50 years,” Arnott’s brand manager Shannon Wright said.

“It has been a staple at any backyard BBQ, beach cricket match, or holiday road trip, for countless summers. As we kick off 2019, what better way to celebrate than to launch a new legendary Shapes flavour, partnering with Australia’s favourite spread?”

Vegemite Marketing manager Matt Gray said the company loves “being a part of new innovations” that show how versatile the spread is.

Arnott’s is partnering with Seven West Media and five Aussie legends to promote the snack, including OAM broadcaster, Bruce McAvaney; Olympic gold medallist, Catherine Freeman; former Australian cricketer, Glenn McGrath; comedian Shane Jacobson and swimming Olympic gold medal winner, Giaan Rooney.

The stars will feature in a TVC, digital and social media campaign.

Shapes Vegemite & Cheese is available now at all major supermarkets nationally.
