Haigh's ChocolatesAustralian family-owned company Haigh’s Chocolates has introduced its very first Lunar New Year range to celebrate the Year of the Pig.

Lunar New Year, which is celebrated on February 5 2019,  is a festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar.

Haigh’s Chocolates has topped the range with a bold and creative design to celebrate the occassion.

Haigh’s Chocolates chief executive Alister Haigh said specially gold wrapped boxed chocolates have been popular during previous Lunar New Years and this range is designed to take the concept a step further to gauge interest and demand.

“We’ve expanded on this theme for the 2019 Lunar New Year with select premium products from our range with special packaging encompassing what is an important calendar date for many Australians,” Haigh said.

The range includes Dark & Milk Macadamias 250g, Milk & Dark Assortment 300g, Premium Milk Tablet 100g and Premium Dark Tablet 100g.

The Lunar New Year range is available online and at select Haigh’s Chocolates stores while stocks last.
