Ice cream shop Gelatissimo has launched today a new limited edition human and dog-friendly gelato, Pawesome Peanut Butter.
The new ice cream flavour is a smooth peanut butter gelato that’s vegan-friendly and made with real peanut butter.
“It’s really important to us that we’re always catering to the whole family, and we all know that the family dog is just as much a part of that as anyone. We did a lot of research to make sure that this flavour is 100 per cent dog and human approved so our customers can share a bit of fun and deliciousness with everyone – even their furry family members,” said Gelatissimo CEO, Filipe Barbosa.
The celebrate, the brand is throwing a pet-friendly brunch at Bodhi’s Cook & Philip Park, Sydney on 18 May. Aussies will devour vegan yum cha while their pets will be given vegan dog treats. Both can bond over the new Pawesome Peanut Butter gelato for dessert.
At the pet event, Gelatissimo will give out best-dressed prizes, photo opportunities and a whole lot of adorable puppies to play with. Tickets are A$60 for both Aussies and their dogs while for those without pets, tickets are A$50.
Gelatissimo did note that the flavour can prove dangerous for anyone, human or canine, with known food allergies or intolerances.
