Heinz teams up with Ed Sheeran to launch ‘Edchup’

Heinz has teamed up with singer and long-time ketchup fan Ed Sheeran on a new TV commercial and special edition label, Heinz Edchup.

The pop singer-songwriter conceptualised the new ad, ‘Heinz Ketchup Saves Ed Sheeran From a Fancy Meal in Super Casual New Campaign’.

It was based on his experience when dining at fancy restaurants and asking the waiters for Heinz Tomato Ketchup to add to his meal. Heinz is “the only thing that can complete me”, utters Sheeran in the quirky new ad.

Sheeran announced his love for Heinz on Twitter, during interviews and even has the Heinz logo tattooed on his arm. His fans tagged him on Heinz’ Instagram posts since 2014, according to The Drum.

During the National Ketchup Day on 5 June, Heinz announced the collab with the singer and featured a special emoji with released of the special bottle of condiment. Fans can buy Heinz Tomato Edchup at while supplies last.
