With toilet paper continuously selling out at supermarkets across the country as a result of panicked shoppers stockpiling essentials, toilet paper manufacturer Quilton is making a donation to shoppers that may be stuggling to access their products.
Quilton is donating one million rolls of toilet paper to the elderly and vulnerable consumers through nominated charities around the country.
“Our aim with the Million Roll Donation is to help those Australians who need it most during these difficult times, the elderly and vulnerable,” aid Matthew Ngai, business development manager for Victoria, ABC Tissue Products.
“All of our facilities are running 24/7 to meet the demand for our products and the roll out of this commitment will happen over the next two weeks. We are currently asking for community into where we can direct our donation to make the biggest possible difference.”
The company will begin the roll out to registered charities in the next two weeks, starting March 24.
“They will be the ones making sure the donated rolls end up where they are supposed to,” Quilton said in a statement.
