New Zealand Food company Wattie’s has expanded its vegetarian range, Plant Proteinz, adding six new products.
The Plant Proteinz range, which debuted last year, comprises protein-based meals made from vegetables, beans and legumes, and seeks to meet the growing consumer demand for plant-based choices.
Launching this week, new products include two new soup flavours and three ready-meals inspired by international flavours, with each pouch containing 15g of plant protein per serving.
New soup flavours include Smokey Spanish Style and Tomato Soup with Lentils.
New ready-meals include Sri Lankan Style Curried Veg Soup with Coconut Cream, Lentil and Roasted Kumara, Dahl with Ginger and Turmeric, Red Lentil Dahl with Coconut Cream, Butter Chickpea with Capsicum, and Thai Red Curry with Chickpea and Pumpkin.
Plant Proteinz is available nationwide in selected Countdown, Pak n Save and New World stores across New Zealand.
