Twentyfive Four launches Gunfire liquor-infused coffee range

(Source: Supplied.)

Coffee brand Twentyfive Four has launched Gunfire, a new range of coffee infused with liquor – but not the alcohol.

The Gunfire range consists of two blends – Traditional and Reviver – each made from single-origin Colombian coffee that has been aged in rum and whiskey barrels before roasting.

According to the company, this aging technique allows the beans to be infused with the flavour and aroma of the liquors – without the alcohol.

The Traditional blend is aged in rum barrels, with what the brand describes as “rich base notes of chocolate and raisins, layered with the sweet and delicate aroma of white rum”.

The Reviver blend is aged inside old whiskey barrels to create a sweeter flavour profile, with hints of honey and fortified wine.

After the aging process, the infused beans are flown to Australia to be roasted by local coffee artisans.

Twentyfive Four’s Gunfire coffee range is available in whole bean or ready-to-drink cold-pressed nitro coffee.
