MYMC expands plant-based range with Protein Cookies

Functional food and beverage company My Muscle Chef (MYMC) has introduced a new Plant-based Protein Cookies range to its snack menu.

The cookies are available in three flavours: Almond Maple, Peanut Butter Choc and Coconut Macadamia. They include plant protein from wheat and gut-friendly prebiotic fibre that aids in digestive health. They are oven baked and made from local and natural ingredients.

The plant-based biscuits are an extension of the brand’s Protein Cookies range launched last year which became a big-selling hit online, according to the brand.

Tushar Menon, CEO and co-founder at My Muscle Chef, said consumers’ preferences toward plant-based diets have risen relatively.

“We’re always listening to our customers and were able to identify an opportunity in our product portfolio to expand with a plant-based snack.”

The cookies retail for $4.95 and can be bought online or via the MYMC app. Selected stores will also stock the product.
