After a successful trial in Western Australia, loyalty program Flybuys has launched Digital Fuel Dockets, making it easier for customers to redeem offers – without the need for printed receipts.
To qualify, members must spend at least $30 at Coles supermarkets or online and scan their Flybuys card to receive a digital fuel docket into their app, which they must activate. The digital fuel docket will allow members to collect points or cash savings. (Eight points per litre or 4 cents off their fuel per litre).
“Cost of living pressure remains the number one concern our members are facing today,” says Anna Lee, CEO of Flybuys.
“Whether it’s 4c cents off a litre, bonus points or the new addition of a product offer, members now have more choice in how they are being rewarded for their everyday spending, especially on days when they don’t need to fill up.”
Members also have the option to redeem a product offer at Shell Coles Express instead of the fuel offer when claiming their Digital Fuel Dockets. For example, the most recent offer they can avail of is a free small coffee.
“Now, it will be easier than ever for them to redeem without remembering their receipts from our supermarkets,” said Michael Courtney, executive general manager for Coles Express.
The launch follows the Digital Fuel Docket Trial held last year in Western Australia, after the success of which has been made to roll out the initiative nationwide permanently.
