Cereal and snack brand Uncle Tobys has rolled out a new limited edition muesli bar, Classic Golden Oats, to celebrate its 130th anniversary.

The muesli bar is made with 100 per cent Australian-grown whole grain, a drizzle of golden syrup, and a sprinkling of coconut – a combination inspired by the Anzac biscuit. It also boasts a 4-star health rating.

“With so much overwhelming choice on the supermarket shelves, it’s so nice to find a muesli bar that goes back-to-basics,” said Kathleen Alleaume, nutrition ambassador for Uncle Tobys.

“Not only are they simple and delicious, but they also hit the right nutrition notes.”

Alleaume added that the muesli bars are a great source of whole grains and are made with no artificial colours or flavours.

“I’m always on the lookout for a snack that has enough fibre to support good gut health, and this bar hits that mark,” she concluded.

Uncle Tobys Classic Golden Oats muesli bars are available for an RRP of $5 in all major Australian supermarkets.
