Ice cream brand Streets has partnered with dairy company Pauls to launch a Golden Gaytime-inspired Toffee Custard.
“Our Golden Gaytime has been an Aussie favourite for over 50 years, so it is exciting to be coming together with another homegrown favourite, Pauls,” said Tansy Skidmore, marketing manager, Streets.
The new dessert combines thick and creamy custard with golden toffee and creamy vanilla flavours in an ice cream stick.
“Golden Gaytime and Pauls are such iconic brands, so we were so excited to bring them together to make this delicious custard. There’s a lot of anticipation for this one already – we know consumers will love it!” added Angela Burr, marketing manager at Lactalis – the parent company of Pauls.
The Pauls Golden Gaytime Toffee Custard is available for an RRP of $6.50 in Coles, Woolworths and Independent Grocers stores.
Brand extension company Asembl brought the two brands together. Recently, the company brought together Chupa Chups and Allkinds for a kids’ personal range.
