Coca-Cola has launched a new holiday activation campaign that invites people from all over the world to use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create personalised digital greeting cards.
To generate cards, users can visit createrealmagic.com and use AI tools to create their own designs. The cards can be downloaded, emailed or posted on social media. Users can also browse other creators’ artwork and save their creations in online galleries.
Coca-Cola’s latest campaign is an extension of its Create Real Magic platform, which was introduced earlier this year and generated more than 120,000 unique artworks using the brand’s creative assets.
This platform was developed as a collaborative effort between Dall-E and ChatGPT-4. Dall-E produces images based on text inputs, while ChatGPT-4 creates human-like text from search engine queries.
Pratik Thakar, global head of generative AI at Coca-Cola, said the new campaign allows the brand to connect its rich heritage with its optimistic vision for the future.
“We’re connecting people as we have always done during the holiday season, but in a uniquely real and magical way by democratising our creative assets and the latest AI tools,” said Thakar.
“Technology has since evolved, so we saw an opportunity to launch a holiday-themed creation platform and give fans a chance to enhance our iconic imagery.”
