Coca-Cola has introduced K-Wave, a limited-edition K-Pop-inspired cola, in Australia. The flavour is part of the brand’s Creations range and features Coca-Cola infused with “fruity K-Pop flavours”.
To celebrate the launch, three K-Pop groups – Stray Kids, Itzy, and NMIXX – have teamed up with the founder of JYP Entertainment, JY Park, to release a K-Pop anthem song and music video called “Like Magic”.
Consumers can participate in an interactive AI experience by scanning the QR code on the can. They can make a cameo appearance in the fan music video “Like Magic” by embedding their voice, name, and face into various parts of the anthem song and music video.
“The world of K-Pop exists because of the fans, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate fans’ devotion to the artists and music they love through this unique creation,” said JY Park.
“We hope fans feel the love and appreciation we have for their support through the launch of a new Coca-Cola flavour dedicated to their fandom and digital and physical experiences that connect them even more to their favourite artists.”
The Coca-Cola K-Wave is now available for an RRP of $2.50/250ml can at grocery and convenience stores nationwide.
