Funday launches healthy sweets at Coles nationally

(Source: Funday)

The Australia-based confectionary brand Funday has introduced all-natural and sugar-free lollies at Coles supermarkets, offering a “better for you” product category for Coles customers.

Aligned with the Coles’ health checkout strategy, the brand has signed a multi-million dollar contract with the supermarket chain to stock their products in its stores. That takes Funday’s distribution to 5000 stores across Australia.

Coles customers will be able to buy Fruity Snakes, Sour Peach Hearts and Raspberry Gummy Frogs at Coles checkouts as guilt-free impulse snacks.

By using all-natural ingredients like chicory root fibre, soluble fibre from tapioca and sweetened with stevia, the brand has addressed Aussies’ demand for healthier versions of lollies and provided a good selection of GMO-free sweets in supermarkets.

Daniel Kitay, CEO of Funday, said Coles has “shown its dedication to innovation” by prioritising “better for you” products.

“We look forward to sharing the joy of Funday and adding a bit of fun to Coles customers’ shopping experience.”

Funday was founded by KItay – a confessed lolly-fanatic – in 2021. Funday’s products sell at Coles for $4.50 per 50g pack.
