Wild Turkey has unveiled Jimmy Russell’s 70th-anniversary eight-year-old bourbon in honour of Jimmy’s 70-year legacy as a bourbon master.
The bottle will be available across Australia for a limited time.
Since joining Wild Turkey in 1954, Russell has established himself as a bourbon legend because of his commitment to doing things the old-fashioned way. His passion and career also inspired global whisky lovers.
Wild Turkey Jimmy Russell’s 70th-anniversary eight-year-old bourbon blends Jimmy’s signature eight-year-old, 101-proof bourbon with selected whiskys aged between eight and nine years.
The bourbon offers a nose of oak, honey, cinnamon, and tobacco, complemented by sweet cream, butterscotch, dark cherry, and rich chocolate.
Jacopo Borsa, MD of Campari Australia, said the company is proud to bring this piece of bourbon history to Australia.

The limited-edition release is available for $135 at Dan Murphys, BWS, First Choice and selected independent Australian retailers.
