Who Gives A Crap expands product range

Who Gives A Crap has launched compostable bags for pet poo, food scraps and garbage, expanding beyond its core toilet paper products.

The company claims the pet poo and garbage bags are made from 100 per cent recycled plastic. The TUV Austria-certified food scrap bags are crafted with plant matter and break down within a year when composted at home, or within three months at an industrial composting facility.

“While it is best to reduce, reuse and recycle where possible, unfortunately, some rubbish is likely to end up in landfill,” said Bernie Wiley, sustainability director at Who Gives a Crap.

Cco-founder Simon Griffiths believes the new release is an important step in achieving the brand’s mission of giving everyone in the world access to clean water and sanitation.

The company donates 50 per cent of its profits to help build toilets globally in underdeveloped countries.
