Marvel has collaborated with Oreo to launch the Legend Cookies range at retailers nationwide on February 2.

Featuring artwork by Todd Nauck, the ‘Marvel Oreo Stuf of Legends’ collection introduces limited-edition cookie packs.

The cookies include 32 different embossments depicting characters from The Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Men, and The Fantastic Four.

Matt Foley, VP of Oreo, describes the collaboration as a ‘cultural icon’ that resonates with fans, offers joy, strengthens connections, and creates moments with them.

“This collaboration takes the iconicity of both brands and channels it into an experience where fans are not just spectators, but participants encouraged to immerse themselves in Super Hero-inspired play through the lens of Oreo cookies,” said Foley.

While three pack designs are currently available on shelves, the fourth remains unreleased.

The brand is using a storytelling element featuring Marvel’s antagonist characters to bridge the gap between these distribution phases, inviting fans to engage and complete the set.

“Teaming up with the Oreo brand allows us to extend Marvel’s storytelling into everyday activities, transforming snack time into a fun fan moment with iconic characters and interactive digital experiences,” said Liz Shortreed, SVP, Americas and global softlines, at Disney Consumer Products.

Limited-edition packs will be available for presale starting on January 26 on the snack company’s website, with a nationwide retail launch beginning on February 2.

Last year, Mondelez International expanded its Oreo portfolio with the launch of Oreo Zero Sugar and Oreo Double Stuf Zero Sugar in the US, set for January.
