Beverage company Lion has expanded its Japanese-inspired ‘Chu-hi’ range with the launch of Kirin Hyoketsu Strawberry.

The strawberry variant joins the brand’s existing lineup of Lemon, Pineapple, and Green Apple. It is made with vodka, soda, and natural strawberry juice.

The new flavour contains 6 per cent ABV and less than 1g of sugar per 330ml can.

Kirin Hyoketsu Strawberry is now available at major liquor retailers across Australia. The product is sold in four-packs of 330ml cans with an RRP of $26.99

“Japanese influence is massive in Australia right now, with drinkers increasingly gravitating towards cleaner, more refreshing flavour profiles,” said Albertus Lombard at Lion Australia.
