Unilever’s Dove has collaborated with Australian cookie chain ButterBoy to launch a dessert-inspired personal care collection.
The limited-edition series pairs ButterBoy’s bakery scents with Dove’s body care formulas.
The range features signature cookie profiles in three formats: Birthday Cake Cookie Vanilla Body Wash, Birthday Cake Cookie Vanilla 72h Antiperspirant Aerosol, and Black Forest Cookie Exfoliating Body Polish. Prices for these items range from $12 to $22.
The three-piece lineup debuted exclusively at Woolworths supermarkets nationwide and online and will remain available for a limited time while stocks last.
To promote the launch, ButterBoy is hosting giveaways that include limited-edition treats and product bundles at its retail locations in Manly, Chatswood, Broadway, Brookvale, and Byron Bay.
David Rebetzke, Unilever ANZ’s head of marketing for personal care, said that the collaboration aims to enhance self-care routines by combining Dove’s skincare formulations with delightful bakery-inspired scents, offering consumers a unique sensory experience.
“When Dove first came to us for our expertise in developing and facilitating brand collaborations with the fresh and delicious idea of a cookie partnership, ButterBoy was top of mind for this match made in the oven,” said Justin Watson, MD of Asembl, which helped bring together the two brands.
“By far the best cookies in town, ButterBoy’s passion for handmade, home-baked goods and a desire to become the go-to sweet experience for every Australian made this cult cookie chain the number one choice to pair perfectly with Dove for a limited edition body care range,” said Watson.
Earlier this month, Dove upgraded its Advanced Care Deodorant range in Australia by introducing active skincare ingredients into the underarm lineup.
