Peters Ice Cream has expanded its dessert portfolio with a line of Lotus Biscoff frozen products, in partnership with Belgian snacking brand Lotus Bakeries.
The rollout introduces two distinct formats: Biscoff Sandwich and Biscoff 425ml tub.
The Biscoff Sandwich features Biscoff-flavoured frozen dessert set between two Biscoff biscuits, while the 425ml tub version offers a creamy frozen base blended with biscuit pieces and Biscoff spreads.
According to the company, the product expansion targets a growing domestic demand for the caramelised biscuit flavour, which has seen rising search and social media engagement across Australian consumers in recent years.
Peters Ice Cream CMO Andrea Hamori said that consumer interest in Biscoff across Australia has more than doubled over the last five years.
“We’ve seen Australians embrace Biscoff in everything from cafes and desserts to home baking. Whether you’re grabbing a sandwich on the go or enjoying a tub at home, there’s now a Biscoff frozen treat for every occasion,” said Hamori.
The Biscoff range is available at major grocery chains, including Coles, Woolworths, and independent retailers, alongside petrol and convenience stores nationwide.
Multi-packs of the sandwiches and the 425ml tubs carry an RRP $11.50 in supermarkets, while individual sandwiches and tubs in convenience outlets are priced at $5.60 and $12.50, respectively.
Last week, Peters Ice Cream combined two of its brand offerings with the launch of the Maxibon Barney Banana, merging the Barney Banana bar flavour with Maxibon’s signature dual-ended sandwich.
