RTD beverage company Raw C has expanded its flavoured coconut water range by launching a new Caramel Crush flavour nationwide at Coles.
The drink blends coconut water with natural caramel flavouring. According to the product label details, the beverage contains no artificial colours, flavours, or added preservatives.
Raw C founder Scott Mendelsohn said in a LinkedIn post that the product aims to cater to consumers seeking lower-sugar beverage alternatives without sacrificing taste.
“Aussies are cutting back on sugar, but nobody wants to give up on taste. A lot of the sweet drinks people reach for, like flavoured milks, can pack in more sugar than you’d expect,” he said.
Sourced from Vietnam, the product comes in a 1-litre carton, according to Coles retail listings.
The drink can be consumed on its own or used as an ingredient in smoothies, recovery drinks, and frozen snacks.
The company says the product offers consumers a lower-sugar alternative to traditional sugary beverages, such as flavoured milks.
Raw C Caramel Crush is now available at Coles supermarkets nationwide, retailing at an RRP of $5.50.
