Nestle Professional has released two dessert mixes inspired by its popular chocolate bars – Milkybar and Aero.
“Nostalgia is emerging to be one of the biggest food trends this year,” said Eike Travers, executive chef at Nestle Professional.
“The Milkybar and Aero dessert mixes provide chefs an easy way to curate special moments for customers.”
The Milkybar Dessert Mix is inspired by white chocolate and can be used to add a “familiar white chocolate decadence” to any dessert.
The Aero Dessert Mix has the same light and bubbly texture as Aero by having ingredients that achieve an aerated result. The mix is recommended to create a chocolate base for shakes or mousses.
Both dessert mixes are gluten-free with no added colours or flavours.
Kristina Czepi, GM at Nestle Professional, said the mixes were developed to cater to the needs of chefs, restaurateurs, and foodservice operators.
“By including much-loved brands like Milkybar and Aero on a menu, venues have a unique opportunity to increase interest in dessert offerings, simply by using these trusted brands,” Czepi concluded.
The Nestle Professional Dessert Mixes are available from all major foodservice distributors.
