Capi Beverages goes green with latest brand refresh

As part of its ongoing effort to reduce its environmental impact, Australian beverage company Capi has refreshed its brand, including the transition from plastic labels to paper.

The move ensures that every part of the glass bottle can be recycled, eliminating the limitations posed by plastic labels and resulting in packaging that looks and feels more premium and is fully recyclable.

“We are always looking for ways to improve the sustainability of our products,” said Thurman Wise, director of brand and innovation for Capi.

“We have transitioned to the new label material, which reduces waste in the recycling process and, in turn, our impact on the environment around us.”

Aside from its sustainability changes, the company has improved its on-shelf visibility at retail stores. The new label design will make its bottles easier to identify and aesthetically pleasing on shelves.

Furthermore, by choosing premium paper stock with foil detail and using high-quality adhesive, the brand claims that the labels will have strong moisture resistance and better print and colour integrity.

The packaging refresh is set to go live in mid-November.
