Melbourne startup BetterDays has introduced the first Australia’s non-alcoholic drink made from prickly pears. Created by husband and wife duo Jac and James Hill, this product is a healthier beverage alternative to alcohol.
BetterDays mainly features the fruit of the prickly pear cactus, which is rich in antioxidants, electrolytes and vitamins and used in natural medicines for hundreds of years.
The BetterDays lineup has three main items: Hibiscus & Watermelon + Nootropics (250ml), Prickly Pear + Electrolytes (250ml), and Cucumber & Mint + Collagen (250ml). Each has different ingredients and functions, from promoting brain alertness and staying hydrated to enhancing skin, hair, and nail health.
Consumers can buy BetterDays on the brand’s website, selected independent retailers and hospitality venues for $5.50 per 250ml can or $60 per 12-pack.
