Moro has partnered with celebrity chef and TV personality, Miguel Maestre, and food blogger, Lola Berry, to host one-day activations across the country, where customers can watch cooking demonstrations and share in tasting plates.

“We’ve been working on this event for a while, so it’s really exciting to see it finally come to life,” Conga Foods senior brand manager”, Kristen Moxey, category and brand manager for oil and vinegar at Conga Foods, told Inside FMCG.

“It’s about celebrating good food and bringing people to together. It’s a really simple message, and it’s at the heart of the brand,” Moxey said.

“Through the activation we are really trying to inspire and educate consumers. For some people, olive oil can be a but mystifying so we’re trying to encourage people to cook from scratch to see how easy it is.”

The first Eat Life Up event will be held today from 11.30am to 3.30pm at The Village Green in the Darling Quarter at Darling Harbour, Sydney, followed by a second event in at Centenary Square in Parramatta on Saturday, June 27 from 12.20pm until 4.30pm. The Eat Life Up series will then head to Melbourne.

“This is really just the start of the program. We have the next six months planned out but we do see this as being an ongoing, 12 month activation. It’s designed to have longevity,” Moxey said.
