Vitasoy releases almond milk range

vitasoyHong Kong-based beverage and dessert manufacturer, Vitasoy, has added Almond Milk Original and Almond Milk Unsweetened to its portfolio of Australian products.

The new products released by the company is aligned with the increasing trend of plant milk consumption, with 12 per cent of Australian households now consuming almond milk.

Supporting local growers, the milk is made from almonds sourced from the Murray River and Riverina regions of Victoria and NSW.

“We know Australians share our passion in getting behind local farmers, and sourcing quality, local produce is one of our key values,” Beth Roberts, senior brand manager, Vitasoy, said.

“More and more grocery buyers want to understand where their products come from and the actual processes behind producing the food and drinks that go into their baskets,” Roberts said.

“We work closely with local partners to ensure our Almond Milk is made with locally grown, whole almonds. The result is a delicious tasting milk alternative which appeals to those pursuing balance and variety.”

Both products share a 4 star Health Star Rating, and can be found in Woolworths, Coles, and independent grocers, retailing at $3.79.
