Finalists announced for inaugural retail awards

Dan Murphy’s, Naked Wines and Muffin Break are among the companies named as finalists in the upcoming Retail Customer Excellence Awards.

Earlier this year, Inside Retail and Association and Communications Events launched the awards program to raise the profile of Australian retail businesses, placing the customer at the core of everything they do.

“These awards shift the limelight to the people of the businesses who create lasting and memorable experiences for their customers every day,” said event manager, Catherine van der Meulen.

The panel of judges comprise retail representatives from Azurium, Telstra, Australian Centre for Retail Studies, Good On You, and Inside Retail.

Below is a list of the finalists in each of the 11 categories at the inaugural Retail Customer Excellence Awards. The winners were will be announced at the Gala Dinner in Melbourne on May 11.

The Customer Centricity Excellence Awards

This major award of the event gives retailers and organisations the opportunity to share their wins, their journey, influence and innovations in conjunction with the successful strategies that create a centralised brand value reflective of customers’ desires. It is split into two categories, Enterprise and General.

The inaugural Retail Customer Excellence Awards will climax in a gala dinner and awards ceremony at The Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne on Wednesday May 11. Super Retail Group CEO, Peter Birtles, will give the keynote address on the night.

The event is sponsored by Gold sponsor Dashing Print; Silver sponsors Fluent Retail and Azurium; and Bronze sponsors Braintree and Brand Aroma.
