South Australian confectioner Robern Menz released the new gluten-free cherry flavoured FruChoc to coincide with World Chocolate Day on Sunday.
The new product features a cherry flavoured FruChoc centre, wrapped in dark chocolate. Last year, Robern Menz released strawberry flavoured FruChocs, putting a new twist on what was traditionally an apricot and peach centre.
“Last year, we ventured into new territory with Strawberry Flavoured FruChocs and saw how South Australians embraced the opportunity to try them,” Phil Sims, CEO of Robern Menz commented.
“Dark chocolate and cherry flavour is a partnership made in heaven. We’ve had great feedback from our taste testers and can’t wait to share this new flavour combination with FruChocs fans this winter.”
Cherry Flavoured FruChocs will be available in South Australia at the three FruChocs Shops, On the Run, Drakes, Foodland, IGA, Romeo’s and selected convenience stores.
The chocolate snack is available in 150g bags for an RRP of A$4.20.
