Mavella Superfoods is rolling out seven of its high-nutrient superfood powders – Gut Boost, Immune Boost, Brain Boost, Spinach, Mixed Berries, Purple Carrot, and All Things Blue – in Coles supermarkets nationwide.
Inspired to find a way to deliver nutrition into their kids’ diets, mums and co-founders Cheryl Stewart and Jaime Turner developed a range of superfood powders made from fruits that parents can conveniently add to water, milk, juice, or meals.
“As a parent, you want your children to have the healthiest food possible and good nutrition is vital at every stage in their development,” said Turner.
“Making sure they fuel up on the right foods can be a challenge; however, our goal when starting the company was to make high quality, nutrient-rich products that would appeal to children and that we would want to feed our own kids.”
Not so long after developing the kids’ range, said Turner, they realised there was a demand for great-tasting dietary supplements not just for kids but also for adults.
“From here, our Australian-grown range was borne; we work closely with local Australian and New Zealand producers of raw fruits and vegetables to bring the farm to the table.”
The company said its products are made using raw fruits and vegetables dried at low ambient temperatures to preserve their vitamins, enzymes, colour, and flavour. In addition, they contain no added sugar, are gluten-free, and vegan.
