Frozen dessert brand Sara Lee has collaborated with Baileys to launch two desserts: Baileys Deluxe Baked Cheesecake and Baileys Deluxe Chocolate Pudding.
The Chocolate Pudding has Bailey’s sauce on top, while the Baked Cheesecake features Bailey’s Irish Cream and Bailey’s flavouring.
“Baileys is incredibly popular at this time of year, so it is the perfect opportunity to bring our Sara Lee baking expertise and heritage and pair it with the indulgent flavour of Baileys to create two fantastic desserts, a Baked Cheesecake and Chocolate Pudding inspired by Baileys,” said Jo Matthews, Sara Lee head of marketing and innovation.
Matthews said the new product is appropriate for consumers to share during the holiday season with friends, family, and guests.
Brand extension company Asembl brought the two brands together.
Both desserts are now available at Coles stores across Australia.
McCain Foods sold its trans-Tasman Sara Lee business to New Zealand investment firm South Island Office last year. Sara Lee’s activities are now combined with Original Foods Baking Co, a 30-year-old New Zealand corporation that, like Sara Lee, specializes in baked products and sweets.
