New Zealand’s Reefton Distilling Co has partnered with independent spirits distributor Iconic beverages to launch its flagship product, Little Biddy premium gin, in Australia.

Founded by Reefton local Patsy Bass in the heart of Aotearoa, the distillery specialises in premium handcrafted spirits.

Its flagship product is named after a gin-toting, four-foot-tall gold prospector Bridget “Little Biddy” Goodwin, and the beverage uses local, “freshly foraged” native botanicals for a “truly unique offering”.

“We’re incredibly excited to expand our reach and capability in Australia through Iconic Beverages,” said Bass. “The company’s commitment to brand building, and strong network both on and off-premise, make them a natural fit for our team.”

The distillery shared that in its first few years, Little Biddy Gin has garnered international awards and become one of New Zealand’s Top two premium gin brands, according to Nielsen data.

“When the Reefton Distilling Co team approached us to launch Little Biddy in Australia, we were thrilled,” added Andy Kelly, brand manager at Iconic Beverages. “Its exceptional range of spirits is backed by an authentic story, and we can’t wait to build on their success to date.”
