Frucor Suntory has launched a new addition to its V Energy beverage range – the Tropical Tang, its first full-sugar product released since V Raspberry Lemonade in 2020.
The new flavour is described as “a sweet explosion” of guava, pineapple, and berries, capturing the “taste of the tropics” in a can.
V Tropical Tang is the latest addition to the V Energy range, which includes V Original, V Blue, V Raspberry Lemonade, V Energy Sugar-Free Original, V Sugarfree Blue, and V Refresh in Citrus Lemonade, and Pineapple & Watermelon.
Josh Wheeler, head of energy and transformation, at Frucor Suntory Oceania, said Tropical Tang was developed to provide a new flavour profile for energy drink fans that delivers a tropical boost.
The launch will also be supported by an out-of-home and social campaign to drive trial and awareness.
V Tropical Tang is available in a single 500ml can and a 4-pack (4 x 500ml) in Australia and New Zealand.
