Asahi Beverages CEO Robert Iervasi to step down

Asahi Beverages CEO Robert Iervasi is stepping down after 16 years with the business for personal reasons, including spending more time with his family and to “enjoy a career break”.

Amanda Sellers, the group’s CFO, has been appointed interim group CEO for Oceania, effective immediately.

“Amanda is an incredibly talented leader, and we are fortunate to have her as our interim CEO,” said Roland van Bommel, chairman, Asahi Holdings Australia.

Iervasi joined the company in 2006 and has worked across various parts of the business since. In 2019, he was promoted to group CEO of the Oceania operations.

“Robert played a critical role in the successful integration of Carlton & United Breweries, and the Oceania business has delivered consistent results under his leadership,” said van Bommel.

“We wish Robert and his family all the very best for the future.”
