Kitkat is giving out a complimentary KitKat Milk Chocolate bar with purchases of branded office supplies in an end-of-financial-year promotion until June 30.

The work items include pencils, notepads, sunglasses, air fresheners, wide-brimmed hats, guitar picks, and whistles that cater to the diverse needs of different workers.

Aside from the treat, customers who avail of the choc bar may also benefit from potential tax deductions.

Melanie Chen, head of marketing – confectionery at Nestle, said the company is committed to providing more breaks for people.

“KitKat believes in giving people more breaks, and as we head into a busy EOFY, we thought, why shouldn’t work breaks be deductible?” expressed Chen.

“So we’ve gotten a little creative about how we could help Aussies claim their work breaks – legitimately, of course.”

The limited-edition KitKat range of work essentials will be exclusively available on kitkat.com.au/claimyourbreak.

The special promotion – a complimentary KitKat bar – will be valid for only one day on June 30. The company cautions that the tax deductibility of the purchased items depends on individual circumstances.
