Grinders Coffee has introduced Cafe-Q, a premium coffee bean range, as part of its ambition to extend its retail offer.
Two varieties of the new line – Cremello and Darkoko – are batch roasted and mixed by Grinders’ Master Roaster, aiming to provide “a perfectly balanced, coffee-quality coffee experience at home”.

Darkoko is Grinders’ first retail dark roast, featuring a five-origin blend of coffee beans from Brazil Santos, Papua New Guinea, Costa Rica HGA, Mexico HG, and India Robusta. According to Grinders, it has a hefty body like an espresso, with aromas of dark cocoa and dried fruit. Darkoko provides a robust and memorable premium coffee experience.

Meanwhile, Cremello is a mellow, smooth, and balanced three-origin blend of coffee beans from Brazil Santos, Papua New Guinea AXE, and Mexico HG. Cremello gives a smooth and balanced premium coffee experience, with flavours of velvety milk chocolate and caramel and a nutty, honeycomb aftertaste.
“We have combined all these years of expert coffee sourcing and roasting knowledge in the creation of the Cafe-Q range,” said Giuseppe Cianchi, who has been Grinders Coffee’s master roaster for over 20 years.
“Starting with high-grade green coffee beans, we’ve specially selected the fine quality origins that will give us the right balance and intensity. We have then small-batch roasted them, in line with current cafe roast and flavour profile trends before blending them to achieve the finest aromas and flavours.”
Grinders Cafe-Q blends are available at Coles or select independent supermarkets in 500g and 1kg packs.
