LVMH-owned wine and spirit business Moet Hennessy has acquired a minority stake in French Bloom, the alcohol-free sparkling wines business.
After several years of research and development, long-time friends Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger and Constance Jablonski, along with Maggie’s husband Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger, co-founded French Bloom in 2021.
French Bloom’s cuvee collection has expanded to more than 30 countries in less than three years. The relationship demonstrates Moet Hennessy and French Bloom’s common aim of leading the future of non-alcoholic sparkling wines.
“This investment aligns with Moet Hennessy’s key strategic initiatives, demonstrating our commitment to offering high-quality, alcohol-free choices to consumers who moderate their alcohol intake,” said Philippe Schaus, CEO of Moet Hennessy.
“We are confident that our expertise in wines and spirits, combined with the French Bloom team’s exceptional innovation and visionary leadership, will enable us to craft the future of this category. We are looking forward to working with Maggie, Constance and Rodolphe.”
Last year, Moet Hennessy unveiled a five-story luxury cocktail lounge in Paris. The company has also collaborated with Beyonce to release SirDavis, a new whisky named after the singer’s paternal great-grandfather.
