Gelato Messina hits Woolworths freezers

Source: Supplied

Gelato Messina has launched its range of pints and frozen ice cream cakes at Woolworths stores across the country.

The ice cream pint flavours are Super Vanilla, Dulce de Leche, Pistachio Praline, Hazelnut Praline, Robert Brownie Jr, and Tiramisu.

Meanwhile, the ice cream cake variants are Tiramisu, Iced Coco, and Choc Malt.

“After expanding from our first Darlinghurst store in 2002 to now having 31 stores across Australia and internationally – the next step for us was to find a way to make our products accessible to everyone across the country, without compromising on quality,” said Nick Palumbo, Gelato Messina’s founder.

“By working closely with Woolworths, we’ve developed a range that still has the honest quality, the delicious Messina magic, but can now be enjoyed from the comfort of your own freezer – no matter where you are.”

Gelato Messina collaborated with New York-based Australian artist Jeremyville to design the packaging of the products.

The pints and frozen ice cream cakes are available for $14.50 and $30 each, respectively.

The Super Vanilla and Pistachio Praline pints are available at Woolworths nationwide but the other pint flavours will be selectively stocked, depending on store size.

The ice cream cakes are not available in WA and the NT due to distribution restrictions.
