Bega has unveiled a new addition to its spreads range with the launch of Bega Whipped Peanut Butter – a lighter, mousse-like version of the classic pantry staple.

The product offers a smooth, airy texture that makes it easier to spread, swirl or dip, which aims to address a common consumer frustration with traditional peanut butter’s thick consistency.

Bega Whipped Peanut Butter has 5gm of protein per serve, has no artificial colours, preservatives, and is gluten-free.

Mary Stafford, head of marketing for spreads at Bega Group, said the innovation was designed to improve the peanut butter experience.

“This is the only whipped peanut butter currently on Aussie shelves – there’s nothing else quite like it,”  says Stafford. “We ended up with something that’s not only easy to use, but delicious and fun to eat.”

Bega Whipped Peanut Butter is available for an RRP of $6 for a 375gm jar and $8 for a 600gm jar at Coles and Woolworths.
