Nespresso has expanded its Vertuo range with new Starbucks capsules, marking the first time the coffee chain’s blends are available for the system.
The line-up includes Espresso Roast and Blonde Espresso Roast for 40ml espresso servings. For 230ml mug formats, consumers will have access to Caffe Verona, Pike Place Roast and Single-Origin Colombia.
Stefan Vermeulen, MD of Nespresso ANZ, said the partnership reinforces Vertuo’s focus on variety and versatility.
“Our Vertuo system is designed to invite coffee exploration, offering a wide variety of coffee blends and the ability to make multiple beverages with just one capsule,” he said
“Bringing popular blends from Starbucks into the range broadens the possibilities for customers, giving them easy access to a specific cafe-style experience that is recognised and loved around the world.”
The Nespresso x Starbucks Vertuo capsules will be available online and in Nespresso boutiques.
