SnackHQ has expanded its Pick Me Up health bar product line by introducing two new variants: Strawberry Matcha and Choc Brownie.

The Strawberry Matcha flavour blends green tea notes with strawberry, while the Choc Brownie variant features a chocolate profile and a soft texture.

The line extension comes amid a broader capital investment program by the Melbourne-based producer of sports, nutrition, and health bars.

Over the last three years, SnackHQ and its contract manufacturing division, Hitex, have directed more than $3 million toward facility automation, product development, quality management systems, and personnel acquisition.

The new variations join the brand’s existing line, which includes Choc Berry Burst, Cookies & Cream, and Caramel Fudge.

The product range is distributed through independent supermarkets and online retail channels.

“Following the significant investment in the business, we are in an exciting phase of growth,” said Darren Butler, CEO of SnackHQ. “We have built a strong platform for further expansion and innovation and are working on several new product launches over the next 12 months and beyond.”

Last year, Melbourne-based SnackHQ entered the FMCG market and is targeting growth through innovation in the snacking category.
