Sandbox game platform Minecraft has entered the Australian food and beverage market with a new range of flavoured milk produced by Norco Co-operative.

The Norco Minecraft flavoured milk is available in 375ml single-serve sizes and comes in four flavours: Choc Charger, Lime Lightning, Strawberry Slam, and Caramel Chug.

The flavoured milks are lactose-free, contain no added sugar, and have a four-star health rating.

Minecraft is a game where players build with blocks and go on adventures. They can craft simple items like tools and containers, create buildings like houses and castles, or even design complicated machines in the virtual world.

Ben Menzies, GM of Norco’s commercial strategy, said the company hopes Minecraft fans enjoy the flavours they’ve created.

“Milk is nutritious, high in protein, and contains essential vitamins and electrolytes, making it an ideal choice for gamers,” he added.

The Norco Minecraft flavoured milk range is available at Woolworths, Coles, and Independent Supermarkets for an RRP of $3.60.

This deal with Norco was brokered by FMCG specialist agency Asembl on behalf of Merchantwise, the brand licensing agency for Minecraft in Australia and New Zealand. Both Asembl and Merchantwise are part of the Merchantwise Group.
