Queensland brewer XXXX has launched a limited-edition Tropical Lager to support the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.
The lager has flavours of mango and passionfruit, as well as citrus notes. Its packaging design is inspired by the Great Barrier Reef, with a bright coral pink and silver fish swimming across the label.
“This includes being the first and only Australian beer brand to partner with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, a long-term million-dollar investment,” said Lion Australia sustainability director, Justin Merrell.
“We are committed to protecting the reef for future generations, and XXXX Tropical is a tangible expression of that commitment.”
XXXX Tropical is now available nationwide at Coles Liquor stores including Liquorland and First Choice Liquor Market, and in the on-premise at Hamilton Island for a limited time. XXXX Tropical can be found in 375ml cans with RRP starting from$56 per case.
In June, the company reintroduced its ‘XXXX Gold Pride In Your Origin’ cans for the second year, as part of its longstanding association with the Queensland Maroons and commitment to the Queensland community during the annual State of Origin rugby league series clash.
