My Muscle Chef has introduced Nutrient Rich, an Australian-first range of ready-to-eat, high-protein meals that are naturally rich in key nutrients.
A 2024 study by FoodiQ Global reports that 22 of 31 essential nutrients are consumed below recommended levels among Australians. The nutrients lacking, as suggested by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, are calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, and several other key macro- and micronutrients.
Developed by the My Muscle Chef dietitian and culinary teams, the range aims to tackle that gap with six new meals. Each meal is crafted with balanced macros to help consumers boost their nutrient intake without sacrificing taste, convenience, or portion control.
The variants include Thai Satay Beef, Beef, Spinach and Mushroom Pot Pie, Chipotle Beef, Creamy Basil and Parmesan Chicken, Mexican Pulled Chicken, and Spanish Chicken, each offering around 40g of protein and enriched with iron, fibre and magnesium.
Ryan Pinto, advanced sports dietitian and head of R&D at My Muscle Chef, said the launch reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to innovation and Australians’ shifting perceptions towards more balanced, nutrient-rich meals.
