South Australian chocolatier Menz has released a new Fruchocs flavour with vintage-inspired packaging along with a larger version of Violet Crumble Bites.
The new Fruchocs product is part of the brand’s 75th anniversary festivities, which highlight the brand’s long tradition for South Australians. According to Phil Sims, CEO of Menz, the vintage packaging will bring back memories for older South Australians who may remember the brand’s inception and allow newer Fruhocs lovers to appreciate the brand’s long history.
“Fruchocs holds a special place in the hearts of South Australians, and what better time to announce our vintage packaging than just in time for World Chocolate Day,” he said.

Sims said the larger version of Violet Crumble was inspired by customer feedback.
“Aussies want more Violet Crumble for their buck, so we’ve created the new 280g bag, which is our biggest yet.”
The new Violet Crumble bag will be available for $6.50 at independent retailers, Coles and Woolworths nationwide beginning in mid-August.
Meanwhile, the 75-year-old Fruchocs limited edition design will be available from all supermarkets and independent stores from this week.
