Coopers Brewery has added a non-alcoholic beer to the Australian family-owned brewery’s range to meet consumer demand for beers and beverages with no or lower alcohol (Nolo).

With less than 0.5 per cent ABV, Coopers Zero still provides the flavour of a full-strength beer, in line with the changing lifestyle trends research by the company, as younger Australians are twice as likely to consume Nolo beverages.

“We set out to develop and deliver a great-tasting, full-flavoured beer to cater for Australians seeking to lower their alcohol intake or switch up their drinking habits,” said Michael Shearer, Coopers’ MD.

The Coopers’ ‘healthier’ option is brewed from pale, crystal malt and malted wheat, which contains 49 calories per 375ml can, with a subtle aroma and moderate bitterness, and will be available nationwide this month.

Last month, Coopers released a new edition of Vintage Ale.
